Howard Highlights

Our Approach

At The Howard School, we believe that learning is a collaborative endeavor built upon trust, respect and communication. We believe in a curriculum that emphasizes depth of understanding over superficial breadth, with a teaching method that begins by detecting each students own “learning fingerprint.”

In our model, based on the latest research in neuroscience and child development, teachers respond to the individual learning styles of each student, focusing on the personal way each student acquires and constructs knowledge, and demonstrates understanding.

The result? Students who feel confident and happy about themselves and their learning. Students who understand how they think and learn, and can positively leverage that in all aspects of their lives. Students who are prepared to move on to the college or career of their choice.
